Project Overview

For this project, you and a partner will investigate a topic from the 1920s and prepare a persuasive speech as well as a button to convince us to agree with your point of view.

Timeline

Day 1:

• Project overview

• Begin note-taking using sheet provided and websites posted to this page.

Day 2:

• Finish note-taking.

• Transform notes into a persuasive speech on lower half of note-taking sheet.

Day 3:

• Download Button Template posted at the bottom of this page.

• Follow all instructions on the doc to prepare a pin with a graphic and slogan to illustrate your stance.

Day 4:

• Present your finished button and speech to the class.
