ESCAPE the LIBRARY!
You love Ms. Trapani, but you can't stay here forever. :)
Work as a team to solve the clues and "break out" of the library.
Why are we here?
This activity was selected simply because it's different and fun. But it's also educational (in a weird way). It forces you to think outside the box and work as a team.
Why Breakout?
Escape Rooms are becoming increasingly popular as a pastime to do with friends and family. But educators have found ways to bring that "fun" into the classroom. Encouraging students to solve problems, think deeply, work collaboratively, and think outside the box is critical for your future success.
The Locks
Goals/Rules
Collaborate: the clues simply cannot be solved unless you work as a collaborative team.
Keep your voices low: you don't want the other teams to hear your ideas and possible solutions/combinations for the locks.
Decipher the clues to figure out the combinations for the 5 locks on the lock box.
Be gentle with the locks, and place the opened locks on the table after you figure out the combination.
