Welcome
Your Tasks
Welcome to your first library research project here at LR! You are going to love it (and learn a lot!).
Are you sitting down? Good.
Congratulations! You are now meteorologists. And a severe storm is heading our way. It will be your job to prepare a weather report to keep us informed and prepared. You will gather facts and images, and then create a script so we can record your news broadcast!
Your teacher has already divided you into teams of 4 and assigned you a specific type of storm to research.
This project has several parts. But don't worry...if you collaborate with your team and stick to the timeline, you'll do great!
RESEARCH: Use the library books provided to record specific facts about your storm on the note-taking sheet provided.
TECHNOLOGY: Prepare a brief slide show with pictures to illustrate your storm.
WRITING & PRESENTING: Prepare a script (each team member must speak), so that we can record your weather report in a few days!
