Researchig a famous person
Writing a narrative poem to illustrate a significant moment in his/her life
Creating a button with an image to visually represent your poem
Sharing the poem aloud to the class

Choose a famous person
Begin research/note-taking using sites/databases provided
Finish note-taking (first 10 minutes)
Begin rough draft of poem
Tell a story about ONE event, moment, achievement, struggle, challenge, accomplishment, etc.
Use 3 poetic elements
15 lines minimum
See Ms. T. to save a pic
Finish poem
Make button (see Ms. T.)
Present poems & buttons to the class!
