Any registration changes you make to your schedule after your pre-registration appointment or summer PSEO orientation must be approved by your PSEO advisor.
How to Register for a Course: step-by-step guide with visual examples of each step
Video walkthrough [6 minutes]
Add courses to your MyU shopping cart by one of the following two methods:
Best for sending a bunch of courses at once: Browse Schedule Builder until you find and "save" a schedule you want. Then, use Schedule Builder's "Send to Shopping Cart" button to send them to MyU's shopping cart.
Best for adding individual courses: Add the 5-digit course number directly to MyU.
Select A-F for the grading basis, if available. S/N is rarely an option; see Grade Basis (S/N) on the Policies page for more information. "Auditing" a course is never allowed.
Select "Yes, put me on the waitlist if the class is full." (It asks this even if there are open seats in the course.)
Ignore the message you'll see about being a "non-degree student" and click "OK."
Follow the course registration guide from step #6 to complete your enrollment.
You will see a green check mark when your registration is successfully completed as indicated in this image.
Schedule Builder lags a few minutes behind MyU. If a course appears open on Schedule Builder but full on MyU, trust MyU.
Register for classes as you find them instead of waiting to build the perfect schedule. Waiting may cause you to lose your seat to others.
Prior to the first day of registration, you will have a registration hold on your student record which will prevent you from registering.
On the first day of registration, your registration hold will be removed if you completed the required pre-registration steps for that semester.
After the second week of the semester, a registration hold will be placed onto your student record again which will prevent you from changing your registration. To add or cancel a class after week 2, you will be required to submit a PSEO Course Cancellation Form, signed by your high school counselor, to the PSEO Office. See the Dropping/Withdrawing From a Course page for more information.
This registration hold will not prevent you from picking up textbooks or obtaining a transcript.

You must attend the first class meeting of every course in which you are registered, unless you obtain approval for your intended absence before the first meeting. Without this prior approval, you may lose your place in class to another student.

After making course changes, always check your Course Enrollment Status through your My U account to verify all changes have been processed.
