It's Spring Wellness Fair week!
A repository of training opportunities about compliance.
We see compliance training as a chance to learn and grow together. These sessions help employees understand key policies, support one another, and foster a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can thrive. Beyond simply meeting requirements, the focus is on building awareness, confidence, and a shared commitment to doing what’s right.
The Clery Act—formally known as the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act—was enacted in 1990 to promote safety and transparency on college campuses. This session provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Clery Act, its purpose, and its impact on our campus community. Together, we’ll discuss the importance of accurate reporting, review procedures for documenting campus crimes, and highlight the role each of us plays in fostering a safe and supportive environment for students and colleagues.
By the end of this training, participants will have the opportunity to:
Explain the purpose and requirements of the Clery Act.
Recognize the importance of accurate and timely crime reporting.
Identify reporting procedures for campus crimes.
Understand individual responsibilities in supporting campus safety and transparency.
