TSTC supports military employment preference in alignment with the Military Employment Preference Act (Chapter 657, Government Code). Individuals who qualify may receive a preference in employment or appointment with a state agency when competing for the same position, provided other applicants do not demonstrate greater qualification. TSTC’s Military Liaisons are available to assist veterans, military service members, and surviving family members with employment processes and education-related questions.
