While You Work

Teammate Resources & Support

Explore a variety of resources designed to help you stay informed, prepared, and supported.

Stay Supported and Prepared

At TSTC, the well-being of our teammates and students is a priority. Whether you're planning ahead, navigating an unexpected challenge, or looking for helpful resources, we are committed to connecting you with information and support to help you through life's many moments.

Employee Safety and Well-being

At TSTC, the safety and well-being of our employees and students remains a top priority. Whether navigating an unexpected challenge, planning for the future, or seeking additional support, we are committed to providing resources, information, and guidance to help support your emotional, personal, and financial well-being.

TSTC provides updates through the Emergency Notification System (ENS), email, text, phone, and the Google platform to help ensure employees and students remain informed about campus closures, emergency conditions, and the availability of college-supported resources.

Flexibility During Crisis

At TSTC, we understand that life can bring unexpected challenges. Whether you are navigating a personal hardship, family responsibility, emergency situation, or other unforeseen circumstance, support may be available to help you through these situations.

If you are experiencing a challenge that may impact your work, we encourage you to connect with your manager or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to discuss available resources, workplace flexibility options, and leave programs that may be appropriate for your situation.

Potential support options may include:

  • Telework arrangements, where appropriate

  • Flexible work schedules

  • Leave options available under TSTC policies and procedures

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources

Our goal is to work together to identify available options and provide support while balancing both employee and business needs.

TSTC Benefits and Resources

TSTC Human Resources is your partner in helping you understand and access available benefits and resources—especially during times of crisis.

With 11+ campuses across the state, some TSTC locations may be able to provide access to electricity, water, or other essential services during emergency events. Additionally, select campuses with residential facilities may offer temporary shelter on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability and local circumstances.

  • TSTC provides employees access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which is available to provide confidential support to employees and their dependents. It’s free to use and offers a variety of helpful resources:

      • EAP brochure

      • TELUS Health Login (username & password are at the bottom of the second page in this brochure)

  • TSTC provides employees access to the Community Loan Center of the Heart of Texas (CLCHOT). CLCHOT is a low-Interest employer-based small dollar loan program as an alternative to costly payday & auto title lenders.
