We would like to give you some insights in recent initiatives of the XSU Business Development.
Creating and sharing Reference Cases is crucial in our Furthering People for Better Performance philosophy. Recently we updated our process in Belgium.
Creating and sharing Reference Cases is a crucial step in our LMI process and in our Business Development process. On the one hand, as part of our LMI and mentoring process, it allows us to share the learnings & growth (Living Me inc.) of our project consultants. On the other hand it captures the added value we create for our clients.
Reference Cases are a key tool for personal branding and they also show the possibilities of our job landscape, to both Project Consultants, candidates, clients and prospects. By creating and sharing Reference Cases after each project, we strengthen internal knowledge management and external communication about our Portfolio of Services, unique furthering approach, and job landscape.
Writing qualitative reference cases will boost your personal brand and enable you to share your expertise. You can also consult Reference Cases when writing proposals, sales pitches … or when looking for experiences of your colleagues on specific projects. Read about their learnings and growth, and take their input with you for your current or next project. Reference Cases may even used by Communication Managers & XSU Communication to publish articles on the Insights page of our website and via our social media channels.
The updated Reference Case process describes the full process from creation to publication of qualitative Reference Cases as well as guidelines on how to store the reference cases in Connexys.
You can find the new process here.
Knowledge is a key competitive differentiator when it comes to driving organizational performance, but is also a crucial aspect in furthering people for better performance in do-how.
The power of people and tools working together offers a huge opportunity for creating knowledge. Within our knowledge sharing network organization we are continuously creating and processing new information.
XSU Business Development deployed a knowledge management process serving multiple purposes:
Content mgt & governance: '1 version of the truth': Structured storage of business development documentation, uniform approach amongst the BCBs to file and share Business Development knowledge in an effective and efficient way.
Enhanced user / client experience: Easy search for different types of information and documentation that is available within the TriFinance network, easy referencing and correct content at the right time (meaning correct content directly at the client).
Preparation for the future: Personalized content and content recommendations, measurements and analytics to improve marketing & sales effectiveness.
A distinction is made between knowledge sharing for Hub (via Me inc.® platform linked to folders in Google Drive, newsletters & Google Currents) and knowledge sharing for BaseCamp (toolbox linked to a folder structure in google drive).
XSU Business Development will frequently share information regarding Market & Client analysis, our Portfolio of Services, reference cases,.... to ensure we all remain updated on the recent evolutions.
Last month, together with Communication, XSU Business Development launched the initiative of a Market Intelligence Newsflash, containing recent news & developments at our clients and in the sectors we operate.
Why? Because we identified a clear need to put trendwatching & marketwatch much higher on the agenda.
There are a lot of potential benefits to gain from it:
Increase the sector/market knowledge of our consultants
Increase the internal knowledge of with what challenges our colleagues are faced with and what their view is on the market
Spot opportunities
React quickly on changes & developments in sectors and at clients,
Create debate
Improve knowledge sharing
Stimulate co-creation
Stay up to date of developments in our PoS
Use market & client analysis in sales pitches & proposal writing
...
This Newsflash is first launched in Belgium by means of a pilot, but we are already taking steps with colleagues from the Netherlands to put Market & Client analysis higher on the Dutch agenda as well!
