Several new colleagues have joined TriFinance Netherlands in the last months. We are happy them to introduce them to you!
In January a new 'old' BCB Leader of T&S Amsterdam and T&S Rotterdam was announced in the name of Joost de Ridder. Yes 'old', because Joost is not only Tjeerd's successor but also his predecessor as he was the leader of T&S Amsterdam in 2017.
In that year he quickly proved his value in the success and evolution of the business. He then received an external offer to set up a new business in Singapore, which was one of the top items of his personal ambition list at the time. Joost has a broad international background in finance, purchasing, and marketing & sales in companies like Philips, Dell, Laureate and Noordhoff.
As we speak, Joost and his team are working hard to (re)shape the plans of the Dutch T&S-units for 2021 and to set the goals for the years to come. More about this in the next editions of TriFinancial Times.
Due to COVID and the fact that most of the radar groups have been around for a while and don’t need to pitch their idea anymore, the setup of “Dragons’ Den 2020 Winter Edition” has been changed into a shareholders’ meeting. Like a real company all radar groups had to present their performance and results in 2020. The shareholders consisted of leads like Peter Laan, Leon Harinck and Tjeerd de Weerd and also all members of the BCB’s T&S Amsterdam and T&S Rotterdam. Most of them were present via Google Meet and their questions were collected and answered live via Menti.com.
Each radar group was given constructive feedback. In the end all shareholders voted via Menti.com to determine which group performed best. Tri4Data emerged as the overall winner and received the honors of all colleagues.
FMS is on fire. Despite challenging market conditions, the FMS team has greatly expanded the existing Expert Specialty BCB last year. Both in terms of team and services in O2C and P2P, among others. The year 2020 ended with great growth in turnover and result, with additional investments in new expertise. A solid foundation was laid in 2020 around the strategic sub-areas of RPA, e-invoicing, and WHOA to continue the growth path that has been set in motion, supported by a team that is ready for it.
You might already have noticed that the amount of content on our social media channels has increased in the last couple of weeks. And you are right!
Since January, we re-energized our content program in which we focus on sharing more of our corporate stories, about our philosophy 'Furthering People For Better Performance In Do-How', how we relentlessly put our people first, how we distinguish ourselves from our competitors, and our Do-How service approach.
We also focus on creating stories with relevant topics for our BCBs, eg Risk Management and Compliance at FI, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, E-invoicing, and WHOA at FMS, Controlling and Data at T&S but also on relevant international topics, such as RPA and Profitability Improvement.
Creating content is one thing, but we also need you to help us and spread the word. So please share, like, or comment on our posts. The more people read our stories, the more awareness we create amongst our target groups.
Besides that, if you want to write a relevant story for instance, an article, a reference case, a blog, or an interview, and share it online, please do not hesitate to contact the communication manager of your BCB or XSU Communication if you need any help. We are happy to help you.
As of the 17th of February, we have a new lease option within our mobility policy: the bike lease. It is the next step in the further greening of our options for travelling from home to work.
In addition to the existing options such as the pool or lease car or the NS-card, the bicycle lease is included in the terms of employment. You can choose from 200+ brands, available at the bike shop. Except for the speed pedelec, all bicycles are allowed. Of course, you can use the bike freely and not just for work.
