Low-poly Map

This is how the low poly map looks on mobile.

The player is represented by a girl scout in a pink soapbox car.

Every terrain type has a specific ground color and a different kind of decoration object. We differentiate between wetland, woods, briar, highland, shrubland, and plains.

The buildings are flattened.

The UI in the top right hand corner shows the state of the weather and the time. Furthermore, there are particle effects for snow, rain, and mist activate automatically when the respective weather condition appears in the real world at the character's location. You will also see the sun rise and set within the day, while the color, position, and intensity of the light changes accordingly. The shadows are aligned with the real world shadows.

A moon mesh is showing up at night, depicting the current moon phase.

The points of interest are restaurants and supermarkets. Clicking on a POI reveals a pop up with more information.

The dynamic POI is a crashing chicken meteor that is picked up by an UFO as soon as it is out of range. It appears on playgrounds when the sky is clear.

It is also possible to have dynamic POIs for more complex states by combining different conditions (like weather, time, specific locations, and so on).
