Expression
Expressive Language is using words to communicate thoughts, feelings, ideas, opinions etc. It is using words and sentences to make a narrative of events with the correct use of grammar. This can be done verbally or nonverbally. Verbal language involves talking and speech whereas nonverbal language can mean the use of signs, pictures, text, symbols etc (see AAC).
