Biology is a natural science discipline that studies living things. In this unit we will cover topics such as Classification, Adaptations and Ecosystems, Cell Structure and Function and Body Systems.

Topic 1: Classification – the process of arranging organisms, both living and extinct, into groups based on similar characteristics
Topic 2: Adaptations and Ecosystems – how organisms are able to survive in different ecosystems
Topic 3: Cell Structure and Function – the role of cells in an organism
Topic 4: Body Systems – how the systems work together to keep us alive.
Year 11 Level Biology meets the needs of students who want to early access Units 3&4 Biology as well as those who want to do the IB or Unit 1&2 Biology We have chosen topics that extend their understanding of current curriculum, but also covered assumed knowledge topics for VCE and IB
