Nutrition: Students will study the role of nutrition in maintaining optimal health, focusing on the importance of fuel for physical activity, understanding macro and micro-nutrients, and calculating energy intake in line with the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI).
Global Health: Students will study health and wellbeing in a global context, comparing health outcomes across high, middle and low-income countries. Exploring the impacts of globalisation, climate change, digital technologies and the mass movement of people. As well as global health promotion strategies and the role of organisations like the World Health Organisation and Australian aid programs.
