Food Technology is a course that investigates design situations and problem solves to create a food solution based on healthy eating and sustainability. You'll develop project management plans incorporating elements such as time, food costs, safety considerations and processes to manage design tasks. You'll transfer theoretical knowledge to practical cooking activities.

This subject is a pre-requisite for Food Technology Level 2 and VCE Food Technology.
