Linoleum Prints

Objective:

Create a print using nature as your inspiration. 

Big Idea:

Nature has many intricate, naturally occurring designs and a surplus of interesting subjects.  Students will use these designs/animals to come up with a strong graphic image to print.

Essential Questions:

What is printmaking?

What is a block print?

How is line quality important in a black and white print?

How does one show movement through mark-making?

How is positive and negative space effect a piece?
