Objective:

Create representational drawing of the given studio object.

Big Idea:

All portfolios start with drawing from life. It is a staple of any artist's work. A life drawing for the final allows the art teacher to evaluate the students accuracy, shading, and compositional choices.

Essential Questions:

What is full value shading?

How does one draw accurately?

What needs to happen to draw a 3D object on a 2D surface?

How does one take up the space in an interesting way?
