Drawing and Painting is a half year class. This art course allows students to develop their artistic skills and focuses on the investigation of 2D mediums. Students will experiment with pencil, charcoal, pastel, colored pencils, ink, acrylic paints, and watercolors. From here students have the skills to go on to Art II or one of the other more specific electives such as Ceramics & Sculpture, Photography, or Computer Graphics.

50% Participation/Progress- You will receive a daily progress grade. Each day you will receive a check that corresponds with the following grade:
✔+ + = 100
✔+ = 93
✔ = 85
✔- = 65
✔- - = 0
Your overall average will still be worth 45% of your marking period grade.
