Project Description:
Cattlelyst is an innovative biofilter for cattle stalls that removes both methane and ammonia. It relies upon a synthetic co-culture of two bacterial species that grow and convert these gasses into harmless forms. Cattlelyst provides a biosecure, biological and animal-friendly solution to limit the ecological impact of the livestock sector.

Our project targets two Sustainable Development Goals: Goal #2: Zero Hunger, Goal #13: Climate Action and Goal #15: Life on Land. More specifically, the goals we would like to emphasize are sub-goals 2.4, 13.3 and 15.5.
Task 1: Share our short video about methane and ammonia from cattle to create awareness of the release of these harmful gasses and their impact on the planet.
