This year, iGEM NCKU_Tainan is targeting stress-induced depression by wrapping an engineered bacteria that could autoregulate taurine production inside bubble. Taurine is an amino acid that is proven able to reduce depressive behaviors.

Our project targets one Sustainable Development Goal: Goal #3: Good Health and Wellbeing. More specifically, the goal we would like to emphasize are sub-goal 3.D.
Task 1 (3.D): By helping us find more respondents (preferably those who have a history of depression) for our research survey, we would be able to receive more feedback and information from them to better understand their necessities.
