For the first step in our Concentrations, we were instructed to take photos that core concentration is hands. I have done something similar to this in Photo 1 but they were all in color and honestly looked a lot worse than the three shown above. Out of the three that I took (above), my favorite is the one in the center. I can relate to "Attack" because I ride or drive a lot to relax and set myself at ease if I'm stressed. To make this photo happen, I had a pair of gloves, a cement background, and a mountain bike. I had a few photos that looked decent but they all looked the same: they faced up toward the ceiling. It was dark out so I somehow had to make this look like I was outside. Then I remembered a small detail about my favorite mountain biking place: Highland. When I go there, there usually was a large cement wall that was always shaded and that was the perfect place to chill and work on bikes. I figured my unfinished basement walls looked decent and enough like that cement wall. It was as close to making it look like I was at Highland as i could. Plus, they teach you "attack position" when you are first about to go down a trail, so that's where the title "Attack" comes from.
If I had to change this photo, I would have a wooded background to make it look like I was actually going down a trail. Also, I should have ditched the watch because i don't wear a watch while riding. It was stupid of me to take this photo on my phone because it makes it seem like I don't care about making the photo look nice (sometimes your dad likes to take a million photos of the beach with your camera and uses up all the space on your memory card).
