KEEP on TRUCKIN

The story behind my work is I wanted to have something that showed movement and could have a stop and start and I liked the slogan Keep on truckin so I adapted the catchphrase to my own and made it fit to the dynamic of the project. It doesn't really have any significance to my life but i thought i would be a cool concept.

I used a mixed of gel pen colored pencil and metallic sharpie to create the truck then some green colored pencil and markers to make the trees and finally using brown I made the fencing.

I started with the front red part of the truck then I wrote the slogan I created onto a box I made which would soon be the cargo load for the truck then I drew the fence trees then went back through with colored markers and finalizing everything by adding metallic accents to the truck to make it shining and metal looking. it started as a black and white pen drawing then a bright red standout truck then finally a colorful roadside view with the truck in the foreground. i think my next step would be to add color to some of the places I left white and or added more shading.
