WhatchamaDRAWit

The main idea that guided my artwork was the WhatchamaDRAWit prompt ‘Dragon Playing With a piece of string’ I thought that because the bass guitar is played with single strings at a time rather than all at the same time like a 6 string guitar, it would fit the prompt. I started with a sketch in pencil, then I painted it with watercolor. Once it dried I outlined it with a thin sharpie. I changed my drawing frequently. I researched images of lots of the aspects of my drawing as references.
