Time Capsules

The main idea that guided my artwork was direct observation. I drew all the pictures from images from real life. The materials I used were graphite and watercolor for the corner of a room. The process in which I used to create the self portrait was to look in the mirror and do my best to replicate what I saw. For the water bottle I looked at the bottle and where the light was coming from. For the hallway looked at the hallway and which lines were parallel and which were not.
