Acrylic paint and wood.
The main Idea that guided my artwork was incorporating the baroque art movement and an art style similar to Artemesia Gentileschi with a portrait with a spotlight lighting, and paint. I used acrylic paint on a piece of wood to make this. To make this, I took a picture of my sister during 'golden hour' to replicate the spotlight, so I could go off a reference. And I used the grid method to get the sketch perfect, then I matched the colors with the colors of the picture and painted in the sketch. I wandered off of the baroque method here and focused more on my colors rather than having perfectly blended invisibly brushstrokes because I wanted the colors of the light to show more prominently.
