Donate Life

The main idea that guided my artwork was trying to show how someone deciding to be an organ donor can save someone's life, and for the work I made a candle represent someone's life dimming and going out, and an organ donor is like someone with a match, helping to relight this person's life. For this, I used acrylic paint on a canvas. The process that I did to make this was I took two pictures, one of my sister with a candle, and one of my bestfriend holding a match. I grided out the pictures, then painted them, it was difficult at times. I used only the primary colors, black, and white so it was good and bad because I could get the perfect colors, but also hard.
