The main idea that guided my artwork for the zentangle value strip was making the snake have different types of scales/skyin with zentangles, and then making them go in order from darkest to lightest to fit the criteria. for the hands the assignment was to draw my hand in two different positions but not drawing the inside of my hands. I chose these positions for my hands because I thought they were good for drawing with negative space because you could still see the shape of the hands even without seeing the inside. The main idea for the leves drawings was, when I was collecting the leves for the project, some of my classmates and I got stung by a bee. I wanted to incorporate bees and the woods in my drawing because we should respect wildlife. For the zentangle drawing I used brystol board and ink, for the hands drawing I used drawing paper and graphite, and for the leves drawing I used brysol board, marker, colored pencils, pastels, and ink. For the zentangle drawing I researched an image of a snake silhouette to trace so I could really focus on the zentangle part. For the hand drawing I just sat down and drew them, but for the leves drawing I had to do some trial and error. I started with marker and colored pencils, but they were not blending well, then I used pastels to blend, then the pastels got into the leves, so then I went over the leves with a sharpie so you could see it well.
