Surrealist Collage

At first, with this college, I wanted to make a collage about Whitney Huston and her addiction problems, but then I wanted to change it to the core of her tragic story, which was her depression. For this project I made the collage with paper then I replicated it in acrylic paint. I started with making the background and then the portrait, I saved the words till the end because I want 100% sure what I wanted them to say till the last minute. The portrait was the hardest part, but once that was done it was smooth sailing :)
