My inspiration for this project was ocean life. I knew I wanted to paint either a jellyfish or a fish, but eventually, I chose a jellyfish because to me they are peaceful to look at.

The materials I used included canvas paper and acrylic paint. Additionally, I used paint brushes as well as a pallet knife to mix each paint color.

To complete this 84-color project, I simply chose my design which in this case was a jellyfish. Next, I put a 1-inch border on the canvas with tape. Then I began to paint. I made 84 colors with the use of just 3 colors. These 3 colors include red, yellow, and blue, and to make tints and shades, I simply added black to make the shades and I added white to make the tints.
