Midterm Circles

My inspiration for this design was the circle midterm project. I decided to use zentangle patterns because I find that doing them is very calming. Additionally, I used vibrant sharpies as a pop of color.

The materials I used include circle stencils to trace each circle, graphite pencils to sketch out the design, a sharpie markers.

To create this art piece, I stenciled each circle into a 4x5 circle layout. Then I sketched each zentangle, and went over it in sharpie marker. Laslty, I used vibrant sharpie colors to color in the checkered pattern.
