Hand Narrative Design

I find that when I draw while studying for other classes, I retain the information better which is why I chose doodling as the subject for this project.

The materials I used to complete this project were graphite pencils, sharpie, and marker. 

I began by brainstorming an idea for this project and photographing the scene. I used this photo as a reference when drawing the pure contour sketch. I then used a sharpie to outline everything and filled the hands in a multitude of patterns which are known as zentangles. Lastly, I made an ombre from hot pink to orange using very vibrant markers.
