The main idea of this artwork is to show all the little detail in the reference picture that I took. And to make little marks to make the picture look realistic. The process I used to make this artwork is, first I got a picture that I personally took, edited in black and white, and print it out on paper for reference while working. Then I gridded both the reference picture and the scratchboard. After that I went square by square copying the information from the reference photo to the scratchboard, making small details to make it look as realistic as possible. While completing this work I experimented with different methods of scratching the board, for example, in the background, I experimented with a new tool and using circular motions to match the reference photo. I also experimented with the photo reference.
