Pure Contour

My first drawing is of my hand holding a rubber band in an interesting pose. The second drawing is of my shoe from the side, top, and front perspective. For all of these drawings, I used graphite pencil on drawing paper. For these drawings, I first very lightly sketched the subject I was drawing. Then I traced over the sketch with a darker pencil. For the first drawing I experimented with my work by after drawing it I went back and added more creases that I saw to the joints of my fingers. I also experimented with the first drawing by the pose my hand was in. My next steps could be to add a little more detail to the drawings and maybe add a little color.
