Colored Candy

The first artwork was my first time shading and showing value using other materials besides pencil. In the first drawing, I used watercolor, marker, bristle board, and colored pencil. In the second drawing, I used graphite pencil, and colored pencils. For both drawings I first sketched it out with a light graphite pencil, then I went in with whatever material I was using and gave the drawing color. Both drawings evolved when I added their shadows. For the first drawing, my next step could be to try and blend out the colors more. And for the second drawing my next steps could be to add more detail to the wrapper and to add more shadows.
