Throughout this work, I was trying to figure out a new medium. I had to figure out how to carve my design onto a linoleum block after I did that I had to figure out how to use the ink and how to successfully transfer it onto paper. First I came up with an idea and sketched it on paper, after I was satisfied with my sketch I transferred it onto the linoleum block, traced it with a sharpie, then carved out everything but the sharpie lines. Once the block was carved I rolled the ink on and transfer it onto paper. Then repeated the transferring process a few more times until I had four final products that I liked. Before I had my four final pieces I made many others using trial and error to get my final products. I also had to revise my sketch a few times before I had one that I liked that I carved into the linoleum block.
