Color Design

The main idea of this artwork was to incorporate all the values of all the colors on the color wheel. And trying to figure out how o make all the colors flow together and make it work with whatever subject you chose. This work was made using acrylic paint, and canvas, also graphite pencil to sketch out the subject. While making this artwork I came up with a few ideas as to what my subject could be. Once I decided on what my subject was going to be I searched the internet to find a picture of a cow that could work with my project. After I found a picture I liked I used a graphite pencil to sketch out my cow and section it up into 12 different sections which I would then section into 7 different sections to show the different values of each color. After I came up with a plan and finished sketching I started mixing my colors and painting. I had to experiment and change around where to place each color and how/the direction I wanted it to fade. I also had sorted through a few ideas on what animal I would use as my subject.
