It shows different values. I used graphite pencil to show the different values in my photo reference. First I made a grid on my drawing and on my photo reference that matched up. Then I went square by square coping down information from my photo to my drawing. It evolved by making my darker values darker to show more range of value. My next steps could be to add a little more shadows to make it look a bit more realistic.
