Students will receive a Google Form at the end of third year, reading as follows:
OPTION 1: You will do Bridge, Legal Studies, Chinese and Craft OR Primary School Gaeilge Link for the entire year.
OPTION 2: You will do GAA Skills, Multi Media or Art for the year OR a rotation of 3D Design, Food Science and Podcasting. You will choose the four options in preference from one to four.
OPTION 3: You will do Web Design/Engineering/DCG/Speech and Drama (one each term) OR Mini Company for the year. Please indicate your preference
OPTION 4: You will do Cookery/European Studies/Music Appreciation/Construction Studies (one each term) OR the Future Leaders Programme for the year.
You select your preference for each option.
In MultiMedia class, students are assigned to create videos in groups of six, featuring the classic structure of Directors, camera-people, and editors.
These videos range from pet-projects, to informational videos about the school, to entries into film competitions such as the FreshFilm festival.
MultiMedia class is a creative outlet for students interested in cinematography, and people who want to explore a career in media production.
Every year, the S. C. C. S. Irish Department selects a group of students to head down to the Senior National School for an hour on Thursday mornings, and become Irish tutors for the children.
It is a great opportunity to become involved in the local area, try out teaching, and improve do chuid Gaeilge!

For all the aspiring entrepreneurs, Mini Company is a way to research / design a product, sell it to the market, and hopefully make a profit!
GAA skills helps students develop their ability is Gaelic Football, Camogie and Hurling. Students learn how to improve their technique, leadership and team skills. They also plan out and manage training sessions for younger students.
