Our school musical recently concluded on the 24th of October with it being a huge success. Everyone had an amazing time, whether they were part of the cast or behind the scenes or even in the audience. Ms. Kelly brought together the school for the musical creating a wonderful atmosphere before, during and after the performances. Everyone is so excited for next year's show and are really grateful for the experience.

This video was made by six Multimedia students: Marian Stefu, Rosanna McCrystal, Kate Higgins, Mairead Kennedy, Kate Dunning and Daniel Stout. It showcases the making of the 2024 Musical. We put a lot of time and energy into it and we hope you enjoy the final product!
The two backdrops and some of the bigger props in the Musical were chosen and created by the TY art class. In the first class we watched the movie version of the Musical and decided on the two most prominent backgrounds. After that we spent our Wednesday afternoons scraping old paint of our canvases, painting them white, deciding on the final designs and painting them on. We chose one of the scenes to be in a desert, and the other to be in the Pharaoh's palace. We also made pyramids that can be moved on and off stage. Some of us were asked to help with ironing and folding the costumes, which also took a lot of time. The art class worked hard and even took time off classes to make sure everything was perfect for the Musical.
