Spring Clinic Information

Post date: Feb 25, 2015 1:23:09 PM

Windy City Water Polo will be offering a water polo clinic again this spring. We will be teaching the fundamental skills of water polo. It is for boys and girls age 8-14, whom are not yet in high school, and will be held at Fenwick High School in Oak Park. It will run from March 3 through April 26. The class will be held on the days listed below in the evenings (mostly Tuesday nights) from 7:15-8:30pm or Sunday 12:30 to 2:00pm, at the Fenwick H.S. pool (except Sunday, April 27 which is 3-4:30pm and followed by our summer registration meeting). Cost for the clinic is $125.00; acceptable payments are cash or a check made payable to Windy City Sports. Please mail to Kyle Perry at Fenwick High School, 505 Washington Blvd. Oak Park, Il. 60302 or bring with you on the first day March 3.

The clinic is open to any girl or boy in grades 2 through 8. The purpose of the clinic is to teach the youngsters how to pass, catch, dribble and shoot a water polo ball. We will also be teaching the basic play of the game. We will try to have some scrimmages in house or with other teams as well. These can really help provide an introduction to the exciting game of WATER POLO! Returning players will continue to sharpen their skills during our spring clinic.

For the 7-11 beginning level participants we will offer H2O Ball. It is a fun way to introduce youngsters to the sport of water polo.

Any questions please call Kyle Perry at Fenwick, 708-386-0127 ext.346.
