Post date: Feb 16, 2017 1:05:22 PM

Windy City Water Polo will be offering water polo during the spring season (March-May). We will be teaching the fundamental skills of water polo. It is for boys and girls ages 7-14, whom are not yet in high school, and will be held at Fenwick High School in Oak Park. The spring season runs from Tuesday, March 7 through Tuesday, May 2. The practice schedule is Tuesday nights 7:15-8:30pm and Sundays 11:30am-1:00pm, at the Fenwick H.S. pool (except Sunday, April 30 which is 3:15-4:45pm and followed by our summer registration meeting). Cost for the season is $125.00; acceptable payments are cash, Chase QuickPay, or a check made payable to Windy City Sports. Please mail checks to Kyle Perry at Fenwick High School, 505 Washington Blvd. Oak Park, Il. 60302 or bring with you on the first day March 7. If paying in cash or Chase QuickPay, please speak with Coach Kyle Perry.

The spring season is open to any girl or boy in grades 2 through 8. The purpose of the clinic is to teach the youngsters how to pass, catch, dribble and shoot a water polo ball. We will also be teaching the basic play of the game. We will try to have some scrimmages in house or with other teams as well. These can really help provide an introduction to the exciting game of WATER POLO! Returning players will continue to sharpen their skills during our spring season.

For the 7-10 beginning level participants, we will offer H2O Ball. It is a fun way to introduce youngsters to the sport of water polo. Class dates will be the same, but the time will be 7:15-8:15pm on Tuesdays and 11:30-12:30pm on Sundays. We had great success with this during the fall season and are looking forward to working with these new players again this spring.

Any questions please call Kyle Perry at Fenwick, 708-386-0127 ext. 346.
