Paris, France.
Photo #1
Photo #2
The two photos above were taken in Bezier, France.
Photo #1 - River jousting by the local towns people.
Photo #2 - While sitting on a bench eating an ice cream this car
pulled up and I thought what a nice picture, picked up
my camera and took the photo in P mode, I probably
had only about 5 seconds before the car was gone.
Tips for taking photographs while travelling.
1. Tell a story about your holiday.
(a) How you traveled.
(b) Where you stayed, dined and partied.
(c) What you saw.
(d) What you did.
(e) Your companions, acquaintances, local people.
2. Add some colour
3. Pick a theme.
4. Get closer - fill frame with subjects.
5. Pick natural poses.
6. Keep it simple.
7. Watch the light conditions.
8. Check postcards for location and time ideas.
9. Leave your camera on P mode for those surprise photo ops.
10. Do not be afraid to fabricate a scene i.e, local news paper left
on a table in foreground (as in the above photograph taken in
Paris).
