Before going on a photo shoot or out to a desired location check
your camera before you ever leave the house, all to often we just
grab the bag and go.
These checks may seem simple but you do not want to arrive on
location with a faulty camera, lens, memory card or battery.
1. Take some photos, it may seem simple but that one check will
tell you if your camera is o/k.
2. Check that all your batteries are fully charged.
3. Check all lenses are working, check front and rear lens
elements.
4. Review photos on the memory card to make sure that camera
is recording images correctly and that you have plenty of free
memory for the new photographs.
Stop ! Before you press that shutter button, check.

before you take a single photograph.

Camera Care
1. Keep contacts between lens and camera body clean, avoid oils
from hands contaminating the contacts, clean with alcohol.
2. When storing your camera for a long period non-use always
remove the batteries particularly if their the standard AA type,
a leaking battery could damage the camera's electronics.
3. Try to avoid touching the contacts on battery when changing.
4. If you have been photographing in low or sub zero temperatures
do not take your camera out the minute you get home, leave it
zipped up in your bag and leave your bag in a cool location of
your home for an hour or two before taking it out to remove
the memory card, this will prevent condensation in your camera
and lens by allowing the camera to come to room temperature
gradually.
