Microsoft Music Producer - One of the programs I cut my teeth on was a program that came with the Microsoft Visual Studio 1997. It was an early version of a music generator that allowed you to create tracks and music of any length, tempo and key using multiple preset Styles, Personality and instruments combinations and emphasis.

Some additional notes; the Microsoft Music Producer program can be located on the Microsoft Visual Studio 97 CD 2 under the VI1.0/Client in a folder called MUSCPROD. I have been able to install and run Music Producer on Windows 10 without any tweaking. Another unrelated product there is the Microsoft Image Composer which I still use today instead of the included Paint programs.
