The Magnificent Monument Valley

This is my attempt to put the indescribable into photos.  I felt really silly standing in front of these monumentals, aiming my little point-and-shoot at them, but I had to try.  The day was glorious (low 50s, lots of sunshine) and there were very few people there.  It really is  the perfect time to visit.  When you view the album, click on a photo and use the zoom button.  You'll see incredible details.  Google "Monument Valley" and you'll see how many movies were filmed here, including "Forrest Gump," but this is truly John Wayne Country.
