Resurrection of Jesus Christ
The following is written not to belittle Jesus Christ but to make the reader realize that the popular belief of his resurrection actually does do so.
God is above and beyond all religions including the ones in which we are born. God contacts all human beings directly and individually without any intermediary. We humans are the ones who do not understand, ignore or reject His message.
God keeps sending His sons (and daughters) because we humans are so incorrigible. Jesus Christ was the best among them. He was the only son of God, but only in his region and time, and not over the whole world nor for all the time. His teachings are invaluable. Their importance would not be reduced a bit even if the popular beliefs such as his ability to walk on water be proved to be untrue.
Jesus was so full of mercy that he could not wait to help the miserable. He was so bold that he did not hesitate to oppose the hypocritical priests. He was so wise that he kept saying the parables. For him living quietly for the rest of his life after crucifixion and resurrection would have been impossible. He would certainly have come out in public to prove that God is more powerful than the killers of His righteous devotees. Had he really become alive, that act of God itself would have emboldened him to face is opponents with renewed courage to fight for the right values. Soon after Easter Sunday he would have resumed his previous activities. There is no mention of any such activity the Gospels. Therefore, Jesus must not have been resurrected. It could be that someone had hidden his dead body on the Saturday. Why none of the apostles tried to find the corpse of Jesus on Saturday? Later, on Sunday Magdalena tried to find the corpse of Jesus. She could not. She and other close followers felt that Jesus had become alive. This might have been denial by wishful thinking. Later on, someone also added that Jesus had ascended to heaven. This was necessary because there was no corpse to bury. If Jesus could ascend to heaven, he would certainly have descended from heaven too.
The thought of Jesus’s resurrection followed by His living a passive life means that he got intimidated by his enemies. That implication is the greatest insult he is being subjected to.
