Creation of Universe
Provides a bridge between religion and science
Creation of Universe
(Tatoodi)
A different, but not necessarily a new, hypothesis is presented below. It cannot be proved. Nor can it be disproved. But is not that the case about most other hypotheses? All religions, including communism, capitalism and scientific theories like the ‘ Big Bang Theory ‘ have believers because they cannot be disproved although to the non-believers they are obviously incorrect.
So, one more theory is added to the multitude. It has one merit. It provides a basis to eliminate the conflict between believing in God and also in science.
The initial creation of the universe could not have been bisexual. The Creator must therefore be referred to as ‘It’ and not as ‘He’ or ‘She’. In the absence of a better term, we call It by the name ‘God’. God’s gender cannot be determined. It is none of the three as well as all the three. Therefore, the following gender-neutral pronouns are used here. Ge for ‘He’ (=God); Gis for ‘His’ (=God’s) and Gim for ‘Him’ (=to God or for God).
God created the initial quantity of matter and/or energy. Ge also created the laws of science and set them up to work on the initial matter/energy thereby to let the universe develop by itself. Therefore the theory of evolution is not necessarily against God. Nor is science against Gim.
Three of the most important attributes of God are that Ge manages almost every thing through automatic systems, Ge loves variety and that Ge recycles all matter and energy. These are inferred from the observation of the natural phenomena. For example, Ge made the earth rotate to create days and nights and tilted its axis to create the seasons, all automatically. Even among the seasons, Ge created a wide variety of climates all over the globe and in so doing keeps recycling water, oxygen, carbon dioxide and what not.
The earliest law discovered by science is the Archemedes' Principle. We know it by that name to honor the discoverer and for the sake of convenience. It does not mean that it did not exist before his days nor does it imply any proprietary rights of Archemedes. The name only means that the law was first realized and clearly stated by him. The same is true for all the scientific laws and theories.
The more one learns science, the more one wonders at the genius of God. Take for example, the simple fact that all things expand when heated and contract when cooled. Water is an exception. And what an exception it is! Imagine how different the whole world would be if ice were heavier than water and sank to the bottom instead of floating. Who made water to behave differently from all other matter?
Most phenomena can possibly be explained as interplay of the sub atomic particles i.e. electrons etc. But then, who made those particles?
