Silent Key W4IV

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform that one of our long time members, Rodger Hughes, W4IV has gone silent key.

Roger was a past SMRC President and the founder of the Short Mountain Repeater Old Cogers Net. He was a good friend, a good man and a caring, sharing Elmer to many hams. He will be sorely missed.

Visitation is Tuesday, Oct 21st from 4 to 8pm at the Woodfin Funeral Home, 1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN. 37130 (615)532-2238.

Funeral Sevice will the following day, Wednesday Oct 22nd at 10:30 AM at Woodfin.

Roger will be laid to rest following the service at 1PM with a Military burial service at Pegram Military Cemetery 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville TN. 37221 (615) 532-2238.
