Here's part two of the Gin Pole series. In this video you get to see me sweat. What I really mean is that you get to see my arms sweat. As usual I am the support for the Contour Camera

Actually, no one knows. I can't even remember the engineer's first call but when I climbed the tower something wasn't quite right. We could have left the sections as they were but the owners were adamant about replacing them. It continues to be a mystery. I have some stills of my first visit to the tower after the bent sections were discovered. I'll try to post them somewhere then make the link available or create a slideshow on Youtube.

Thanks for the comments guys. Unfortunately I wasn't present to actually use the gin pole. I had two jobs for David and Eric but weather and wind kept delaying the completion of the gin pole job so Clay and I had to take care of the other job ourselves. I would have liked to actually work on the tower with the gin pole. It seems I'm working the ground or something else gets in the way when I get the opportunity to deal with a 2500 pound tool.
Everyone is paid well. :-)

I'm curious as to how the two sections got bent in the first place? Your videos are great and this was no exception, well done!
