Greetings Delta Members and Amateurs, It is with great concern that I pass along the following information: Vice Director Glen Clayton, W4BDB has resigned yesterday due to some ongoing health issues. Glen has been a tremendous help to us in his capacity as Vice Director since January 2012 and will continue as part of the Delta Division Leadership in a more localized role. I wish to thank Glen and his XYL Jean for all their efforts both past and future on behalf of the ARRL and amateur radio in Tennessee, the Delta Division and nationally. Glen and Jean will remain engaged and active in ARRL, however in roles which require less travel. Again, on behalf of the Delta Division, I thank both Glen and Jean for their past and future service. TNX! With Glen’s resignation we have selected a replacement candidate from among a group of individuals in the current Delta Division Leadership and other noteworthy Delta Division amateurs. His application is currently under review by the ARRL Ethics and Elections Committee and upon the Committee’s approval, he will assume the position of Vice Director for the remainder of Glen’s term upon President Craigie’s appointment. I will announce the replacement as soon as it becomes official. QRX for a lengthy Delta Update over the weekend. 73 ES DX DE K5UZ -------------------------------------------------------------------- ARRL Delta Division Director: David A Norris, K5UZ k5uz@arrl.org ----------------
